Star Entertainment Group has announced that cash game poker will return to its two Queensland casinos, Treasury Brisbane and The Star Gold Coast, from this Friday 11 December.
According to an update on Star Poker's social media channels, the poker rooms at both properties will open from midday on Friday – and from 10am each day starting Saturday – following the latest relaxing of COVID-19 restrictions by the state government earlier this month. Those include increasing capacity from one person per four square metres to one person per two square metres, and increasing the number of people allowed at each gaming table from four to seven.
As per the new restrictions, cash poker will return seven-handed.
